Course Overview
The programme builds strong grounding in pharmaceutical science, covering drug design, formulation, analysis, and safety evaluation. Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory work that focuses on testing, quality control, and pharmaceutical techniques used in industry settings.
Training includes study of how medicines interact with the human body, along with methods used to check purity and stability of pharmaceutical products. Students also learn regulatory practices linked to drug approval and safety standards used in Europe.
Graduates move into roles in pharmaceutical laboratories, production units, and research support positions. The course also supports progression into postgraduate study in pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, and biomedical sciences.
Academic staff guide students through both theoretical and practical areas of pharmaceutical science, helping build skills used in healthcare and drug development sectors.
