BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence with Foundation Year

This four-year program provides a comprehensive education in artificial intelligence, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. Students will learn about machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and other topics, as well as gaining experience in programming languages such as Python and Java. The foundation year is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of maths and physics, as well as computing concepts, before progressing to the three-year degree program.

This course is offered as a four-year program, including an initial Foundation Year. The Foundation Year will allow you to develop your academic study skills and build confidence in your abilities, identifying your own strengths and development needs for progression onto an undergraduate degree. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for our three year programmes, or those who do not feel fully prepared for first year entry, can be considered for the four year programme including a foundation year. Applicants to these will have typically achieved between 32-56 UCAS tariff points.
