BSc (Hons) Airline and Airport Management with Foundation Year

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the airline and airport management industry. Students will learn about the operational and strategic aspects of airlines and airports, including passenger traffic management, cargo handling, aeronautical engineering, and aviation law. The foundation year provides an opportunity for students to develop their academic skills and prepare for the rigors of the honours degree. Upon completion of the course, students will be well-equipped to pursue a career in airline or airport management.

Additional Information

Students have the opportunity to participate in work placements and study abroad programs. The course is accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Institute of Travel & Tourism (ITT).

Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for the 3-year undergraduate program, or those who do not feel fully prepared for a Level 4 course, will be considered for the 4-year program including a Foundation Year. Applicants to these will have typically achieved between 32-56 UCAS tariff points.
