Course Overview

At Brunel, you’ll learn through an equal balance of theory and practice, gaining your professional experience in a variety of healthcare settings where you’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals, service users and their families.

On this programme, you’ll learn to care for adults with acute/long-term illnesses and you’ll prepare to play a vital role in health promotion and disease prevention. Through your programme in adult nursing, you’ll learn to understand the health needs of patients aged 18 and over within public health, community development and global agendas. You’ll be supported in developing the personal skills necessary for the nursing profession.

General Eligibility

• GCE A Level BBC. 

• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DMM in Health & Social Care.

• BTEC Level 3 Diploma DM in Health & Social Care, with an A Level at grade C in any subject.

• BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma M in Health & Social Care, with two A Levels at grades BB in any subject.

• International Baccalaureate Diploma 30 points.

• Access to Higher Education Diploma Obtain a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points in the Access to HE Diploma with 45 credits at Level 3. Subjects accepted: Health Science, Health Professions, Health and Social Care, Health Studies, Medicine, Medical Science, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Science, Science in Health Professions

• T levels: Merit overall and grade C in A level Science subject (Health, Healthcare Science and Science)
