Course Overview
The programme covers machine design, thermal systems, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes. Students work on simulation tasks, laboratory experiments, and design projects linked with industrial use cases.
Training includes use of CAD tools, modelling software, and testing equipment used in mechanical engineering practice. Project work supports skills in system design and performance analysis.
Graduates move into roles in product development, mechanical design, energy systems, and industrial production units across international companies and research organisations.
General Eligibility
Applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, energy engineering, or a related field. Strong background in mathematics, chemistry, and engineering subjects is required. Academic transcripts, degree certificates, CV, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency form part of the application package.
Part Time Work Details
International students may work part-time under Finnish residence permit rules. Work hours must fit around full-time study requirements.
