In this course, youll explore the answers to these questions and many more. Youll focus on the rapid changes in global media and communications and their social and cultural consequences within an international context. Youll have the opportunity to meet professionals working in the broadcast, advertising, and marketing industries who visit us on campus and through organized field trips. Maybe your background is in media, sociology, or another relevant discipline, or perhaps you are already a professional in the communications or broadcast industry seeking to gain a more sociologically-informed understanding of those industries. In this course, youll develop the advanced skills and knowledge you need.

General Eligibility

A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification, in a Media/Communications-related subject (Media, Communications, Cultural Studies, Politics) preferably in the field of Sociology.
