Course Overview

This course is delivered entirely online (part-time), allowing you to make a real difference in your career with minimum disruption to your work and personal life. ABA Top-Up is the equivalent of the final year of a full-time bachelor's degree, delivered by us straight to your screen via our flexible online learning environment. The course involves a combination of assessments and independent study. Assessments are practical and applied, including workplace assignments and case studies.

General Eligibility

Our entry requirements indicate the minimum qualifications with which we usually accept students. Competition for places varies yearly, and you aren't guaranteed a business if you meet the minimum qualifications.

Students would typically be in employment and have one of the following qualifications:

• SVQ at Level 4 (SCQF 8): Management

• Institute of Leadership & SVQ Level 4 (SCQF 8)

• Diploma in Management SVQ Level 4 (SCQF 8)

• HND Business with grades B at SCQF Level 8

Where professionally qualified staff are seeking entry to the program, recognition will be given to RPL and related experience.

Other qualifications which can be mapped onto the SCQF 8 at SVQ or NQF level 4 will also be accepted at the discretion of the program team.

  80 overall, with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing

  56 overall, with a minimum of 51 in each component

  Cambridge C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE))

  169 overall, with a minimum of 162 in each component

  Cambridge B2 First (formerly Cambridge English First (FCE))

  169 overall, with a minimum of 162 in each component

  Cambridge C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English Advanced (CAE))

  169 overall, with a minimum of 162 in each component

  Trinity Integrated Skills Test (ISE)

  ISE III, ISE III, & ISE IV with a pass in each component

  LanguageCert English language qualification

  B2 Communicator Test with an overall 39 or above and 25 or above in all skills
