Course Overview

On successfully completing the course, you will be appropriately placed and equipped with the necessary academic tools, professional skills and knowledge, and personal and transferrable skills to compete for junior management positions within the industry. There will be opportunities for work placements throughout the course, which may lead to employment opportunities.

The course is affiliated with the Institute of Hospitality Education Membership Scheme, allowing you to access information to assist your studies and prepare you for a successful start to your career.

General Eligibility

• A typical offer is 40-48 points.

For entry to level 4/year one, applicants must:

• be 18 years or over by 31 December in their first year of study

• have a Level 3 qualification – such as a Diploma in Professional Cookery (with a pass grade of 60 credits or more)

• NCFE Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism with a merit grade or above

• Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism with a passing grade

• or a Business management equivalent qualification at level 3

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• International students must also provide evidence of English language skills equivalent to IELTS 7.0 (or equal).
