Japanese Studies (Graduate Diploma)

This graduate diploma program in Japanese Studies provides advanced training in the language, culture, and history of Japan. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in fieldwork and internships to gain practical experience in Japan-related fields. The program is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, and workshops, and students will be assessed through a combination of coursework, exams, and dissertation.

It is ideal if you wish to expand your knowledge of Japanese and Japanese culture in preparation for a master's degree. It is also aimed at those who do not have a BA honors qualification in Japanese studies or those with a qualification at, or near, BA level.

This is an undergraduate-level qualification that will prepare you for postgraduate study. Graduate Certificates/Diplomas typically take one to two years to complete and are made up of two, three, or four modules at the final-year undergraduate degree level
