Bachelor of Business (BBus)

Course Overview

The Bachelor of Business (BBus) will prepare you to lead and manage a successful company or organisation in a wide range of industries. Or take the entrepreneurial route and create your own start-up business.

This degree equips you with well-rounded business and financial acumen across all the key areas of management, including accounting, digital business, economics, finance, marketing and supply chain management.

It ensures you graduate with the relevant business knowledge and practical skills that today's employers are looking for.

Upon successfully completing the requirements you'll receive the award of:

• Bachelor of Business (from University of Waikato)

General Eligibility

Start your BBus degree in Tauranga by enrolling in the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) with Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.

On successful completion of the NZDipBus (Level 5), you will be guaranteed admission to the BBus with credit for the first year. 

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 4 with the Academic Endorsement or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
