An architectural project manager ensures projects are designed and built on time and to budget while protecting the integrity of the design and ensuring full compliance with regulations and sustainability standards and benchmarks. Using current knowledge in project management theory and practice, this course aims to produce these specialist managers equipped with the vision and skills to shape the future of the construction industry in the UK and internationally. During your studies, youll apply the same tools and techniques used by the construction industry and learn the most up-to-date procurement routes to gain the skills to be able to deal with risks arising from liabilities of contracting parties. The program will help you demonstrate a good understanding of Building Information Management (BIM), and youll employ advanced design techniques coupled with knowledge of project management at both a technical and strategic level to produce high-quality designs that meet the industrys environmental requirements.
