You will graduate with strong academic and professional skills leaving you well placed to pursue a PhD and a career in academia or develop your career in the private or public sector. Public organisations within the UK, such as the Office for National Statistics Data Science Campus, are in need of people with skills in urban analytics; private companies, working for instance on transportation or urban design, require employees who have the technical expertise of data science as well as the domain knowledge of urban systems.
Candidates are required to have at least a 2:1 degree in a strongly numerate subject (eg. computer science, mathematics or physics) and must be able to show evidence of good programming ability in a recognised modern computer language.
Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.
IELTS Overall score 6.5. No less than 6.0 in any section. TOEFL Overall score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.
