Course Overview

Our graduates enjoy excellent career opportunities in a range of subjects, including mineral and petroleum exploration, hydrogeology, geophysics, geotechnics, and environment-related industries. Graduates also go on to roles outside of geology, utilising the array of transferable skills they have developed. Recent graduates work in fields as diverse as the UK civil service, Arup Geotechnics, the National Trust, the Ministry of Defence and Geomarine Ltd.

Part Time Work Details

Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.

Language Requirement

• IELTS and IELTS Indicator (International English Language Testing System – academic version) 6.5 and no less than 6.0 in the writing section and no less than 5.5 in any other section. TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition and TOEFL iBT Paper Edition 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.
