Course Overview

As a BA Sociology and Criminology graduate you will have an understanding of the contemporary world, human behaviour and the forces shaping society which will be attractive to employers across a wide spectrum of careers. Alongside this you will also develop a range of professional, academic and personal skills including: Analytical, critical and independent thinking Collect, assess and present evidence Quantitative research methods and statistics Qualitative research including interviewing and thematic data analysis Independent research Discussion and group work Written and verbal communication Articulating ideas and arguments Organising, planning and time management

A-Level: AAB IB: 34/665 BTEC: DDD GCSE: C or 4 English Language Access to HE: 30 L3 credits at Distinction Grade and 15 L3 credits at Merit Grade Contextual Offer; A-Level: BBB IB: 30/555 BTEC: DDM

Part Time Work Details

Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.

Language Requirement

  • International English Language Testing System – 6.5 and no less than 6.0 in the writing section and no less than 5.5 in any other section.
