you’ll possess in-depth knowledge in areas such as human anatomy and physiology, psychology, medicine management, legal and ethical issues, as well as skills in diagnostic evaluation, clinical procedures, decision-making, teamwork and interpersonal communication. You’ll be adept at functioning and working effectively on ambulances and rapid response vehicles and have a clear understanding and appreciation of the role of other healthcare professionals and emergency services.
120 UCAS points. Your Level 3 subjects must include a science or social science subject; for instance, A-level Psychology or BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science. Examples of relevant subjects include healthcare, human biology, biology, physics, chemistry, psychology, mathematics, and social science. Please note that General Studies and Critical Thinking will not be counted towards the UCAS point requirement. You must have at least five GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent) these must include English, Mathematics, and Science. Please contact us for a list of acceptable GCSE equivalents. If you have experience in a relevant field this may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.
If English isn’t your first language you’ll need an IELTS 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any band (or equivalent). We also accept a range of other English language qualifications
