Course Overview

You'll explore the rapidly growing fields of regenerative medicine and advanced therapies using stem cells, gene therapies, and tissue engineering to treat and cure multiple diseases. Studying MSc Regenerative Medicines Manufacturing will enable you to further develop a thorough understanding of the fundamental biology that underpins human cells and the ways in which they can be harvested, differentiated, or genetically modified, and delivered to patients. It offers new opportunities for treatments that are of increasing value in modern healthcare. Aston is home to an expansive and highly regarded bioscience research department. Youll be taught by passionate research-active academics whose specialist areas of research interfaces cell biology with bioprocessing, biomaterials, and novel devices. This research is fed into our teaching, ensuring that you not only have access to the very latest trends and thinking in this specialist area, but that you also develop a critical appreciation of recent scientific developments and their clinical and industrial application.

General Eligibility

Lower second class honors degree (2:2) with a minimum overall of 55% or above from a recognized university in a biological, biomedical, or biochemistry-based subject, or a related field.

If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS.
