Course Overview

Our BA (Hons) Television & Media Production course will mold you into a versatile player in the media industry, with a wealth of skills, confidence, and adaptability that will help you achieve career success. Working across radio, television, and online studio production in our extensive facilities at UCA Farnham, youll develop the advanced production techniques needed to produce informed pieces for journalistic, documentary, and fiction purposes. Youll develop skills in writing and visual storytelling, and work on a number of live briefs, giving you the chance to experience a realistic simulation of a working studio atmosphere. As well as discovering how to disseminate your content across multiple platforms, youll also learn how to identify a great story, develop your interviewing techniques and become versatile in writing for different audiences.

  • IELTS UKVI or Academic Listening 5.5, Reading 5.5, Speaking5.5, Writing5.5, Total6.0 Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS.
