Course Overview
The program builds step-by-step ability in programming, software design, and computing systems. Early stages focus on coding logic, data structures, and basic engineering math. Later parts introduce system design, databases, and software project work.
Students take part in group projects that reflect real software development tasks. This includes building applications, testing systems, and working with version control tools used in industry. The study path also includes optional modules that cover artificial intelligence, cloud services, and network systems.
Graduates gain skills suited for software developer roles, IT support positions, and technical analyst jobs. Many continue with master’s studies in computer science or related fields. The program has strong links with Finnish tech companies, giving students exposure to practical software work and project experience during studies.
