Course Overview

Graduates of this degree will be in demand by a broad spectrum of Electronic, Electrical, Information Technology, and engineering organizations, particularly those within the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and consumer electronics sectors. Embedded systems and the Internet of Things are pervasive and will require graduates with the skills acquired from this degree for their design, manufacture, and maintenance.

We also deliver group sessions on career planning within each course and we have a wide range of extensive information covering graduate jobs and postgraduate study.

Students and graduates of the University of Chester can use our services free of charge for up to two years after graduating.

General Eligibility

A minimum of a 2:2 honors Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or BSc degree in either:

Electronic and Electrical Engineering

Electronic Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Control Engineering

Communications/Information Engineering

Applicants with a minimum of 2:2 honors in a related area, such as Computing, Physics, or Mechatronics will also be considered.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

• IELTS Academic: 6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any band)
