This new postgraduate, pre-registration Speech and language therapy degree is an exciting opportunity to enter a profession that works across the lifespan to support people to achieve their communication potential in a range of developmental and acquired communication needs and eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders.
Throughout your studies, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding of the professional frameworks within which you need to become an effective, safe, and autonomous speech and language therapist. After successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to apply for registration to hold the protected title of Speech and Language Therapist.
This course will prepare you to work flexibly and responsively in the changing contexts of health and social care, demonstrating leadership, embedded partnership working skills, and the ability to use evidence-based practice to inform and support your clinical reasoning and decision-making.
An undergraduate degree in a related area at 2:1 or above.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
