Certificate Diploma Mechanical Techniques – Machinist

This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a variety of mechanical trades. Students will learn about the properties and applications of various materials, as well as how to use hand and power tools, machines, and equipment. The program also covers safety procedures and quality control techniques. Upon completion, students will be able to design, construct, test, and maintain mechanical systems and components.

Additional Information

Students in this program will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain practical experience through co-op placements. They will also receive training in CAD software and 3D printing techniques. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to write the Machinist certification exam.
