Examine the function of the human body from the molecular level to full body systems and also get an additional year of working in industry In Biomedical Sciences you combine a range of topics from the field at Levels 1 and 2 before specialising in areas that interest you at Levels 3 and 4. This will include normal and diseased function as well as ways to prevent and treat disease. Between Level 3 and 4, you'll spend a year working in a related industry - for example in a commercial lab - before returning to your studies.
