BA (Hons) Television Production

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of television production, including planning, writing, directing, and editing for both live and pre-recorded content. Students will learn about the technical aspects of television production, such as camera operation, lighting, and sound recording, as well as the creative elements of storytelling and drama. The course will also cover the legal and ethical considerations of television production, including copyright law, defamation, and privacy. By the end of the course, students will have gained a solid foundation in the technical and creative aspects of television production, as well as the skills to analyze and critique TV content.

This course requires 104–120 UCAS tariff points, including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. We are happy to consider a combination of qualifications and grades to meet the overall tariff, for example, A-levels A*CC, ABC, BBB or BCC, BTECs DDM, or DMM.
