Our BSc Geography with Economics degree combines a focus on the social and physical processes affecting our rapidly changing planet, as well developing your knowledge and understanding of economics. This combined honours course is taught in partnership with one of the UK’s leading Schools of Business and Economics. Geography The geography modules span human and physical geography in the first year ensuring you have a sound understanding of how social and physical processes vary within the context of places and regions. In second and final years of the Geography with Economics degree you can specialise in either human or physical geography or continue to maintain a balance between the two. Alongside the geography component, you will spend one-third of your time studying economics. Although the emphasis is largely on geography, in your first year of our Geography with Economics degree you will develop a basic understanding of economics, building a foundation from which you can build on in later years through a range of optional modules.
