College Certificate Dental Assisting - Level I & II

This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a dental assistant in a dental clinic or office. Students will learn about dental anatomy, oral hygiene, radiography, and chairside assisting. The program also covers medical terminology, patient communication, and infection control. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to write the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) exam.

This program is designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career as a dental assistant. It is recommended that students have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed grade 12 English. Students must also pass a criminal background check and provide proof of immunization against certain diseases before being accepted into the program.
