BA(Hons) Technical Theatre Arts

The BA(Hons) Technical Theatre Arts program at Falmouth University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of theatre production. Students will learn about lighting, sound, set design, and stage management, as well as the history and context of these disciplines. The course is designed to prepare students for a career in theatre production, whether onstage or behind the scenes. Graduates of the program are well-equipped to work in a variety of settings, including professional theatres, touring productions, and event management companies.

Through this convenient two-year Technical Theatre course, you’ll be equipped with the technical know-how to succeed in many diverse areas of the performance industry. In addition, you’ll be empowered to take a creative, collaborative and proactive approach to your work.

Develop specialised technical and creative skills in stage management, lighting, sound and visual technologies while gaining a thorough grounding in all aspects of technical production.

BA/BSc(Hons) two-year degree 104 – 120 UCAS Tariff points

BA/BSc(Hons) three year degree
with placement year 104 – 120 UCAS Tariff points

UCAS Tariff points will primarily be from Level 3 qualifications such as but not limited to A-levels, T Levels, a BTEC/UAL Extended Diploma or a Foundation Diploma. 

Twenty hours of work permit weekly for international students.
