General Eligibility

Admission Requirements

• An accredited UK Honours degree with a minimum 2:2 classification, or an equivalent international qualification.

• Consideration is given to non-standard applicants possessing relevant professional qualifications or extensive work experience in an educational setting.

• Submission of a personal statement outlining professional motivations, an up-to-date CV, and two academic or professional references.

Part Time Work Details

International students on a Student Visa can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during official vacation periods.

Language Requirement

• Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate academic language proficiency through recognized test certificates:

  • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 6.5 (with no individual sub-test component below 5.5).

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 88 (with component minimums of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing).

  • PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 58 (with no individual skill score below 59/CEFR C1 level equivalent).

  • Duolingo English Test: Minimum overall score of 115–120 (with no individual sub-score below 105).
