Course Overview
The programme builds knowledge in computing, programming, and information systems. Students study software development, database design, networking, cybersecurity basics, system analysis, and web technologies. Practical labs and projects support coding practice and system building.
Graduates can apply skills in IT support, software development, network administration, and web development roles. The degree also supports further study at postgraduate level in computing or related fields. Students work on projects that develop problem-solving, coding, teamwork, and technical communication skills. The qualification follows the Malta framework at Level 6, giving recognition for further study or work options within and outside Malta.
General Eligibility
- Completion of secondary education with science, mathematics, or IT subjects preferred
- MQF/EQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent accepted
- Mature applicants may apply with relevant IT experience
- Interview or assessment may be required in some cases
- English language requirement applies for non-native speakers
Part Time Work Details
International students in Malta may work part-time after meeting student residence permit requirements and obtaining the required employment licence from Jobsplus. Working hours are subject to Maltese immigration regulations.
