BA (Hons) Primary Education with Mathematics Specialism is designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to become a primary teacher, with a focus on mathematics.
You’ll learn about every aspect of teaching, including child development and behavior, the curriculum, planning, and assessment. School placements will help you combine theory and practice to ensure that by the time you complete the course, you will be ready for an exciting career in one of the most rewarding professions.
We provide a significant proportion of the teachers in the South East of England, particularly in Kent and Medway. Upon graduating, you will be joining this wider alumni network of teachers.
Recent graduates have gone on to work in schools in the UK and abroad. A mathematics specialism will enhance your prospects of securing a mathematics subject lead role.
A number of our students continue to develop their academic progress through postgraduate study such as an MA in Education.
