One the course event students work collaboratively with businesses in the industry through internships, paid and volunteer roles in the project management, and delivery of a wide range of events. Many opportunities are for very prestigious, large County events such as the Suffolk Show, Art EAT Festival as well as other cultural, music festivals, and business events in the area. We use authentic learning and assessments using scenarios from local business to the national and international business setting. The balanced approach of problem-based, real-life situations helps contextual the academic theory very effectively. This approach is seen as a strong point of differentiation compared to other event and tourism degree programs on offer. Our course offers smaller class sizes than elsewhere, more personal support, inspiring modules, and a healthy dose of fun for students who aspire to build a successful career in events and tourism. Here, you receive excellent levels of support due to our small class sizes and personal tutors.
