Course Overview

Train to be a primary school teacher with an additional specialism in physical education and enjoy a rewarding career, teaching children aged between five and 11 years. This course will provide training in all primary stage national curriculum subjects, with a particular focus on the subjects of English, mathematics, science, and PE. You will explore established educational theories alongside new ideas, concepts, and developments in the field of education. In addition, we will develop you as a future leader in the teaching of PE, giving you the knowledge and skills to promote, shape, and develop the subject within a primary school setting.

General Eligibility

Applicants should have at least a 2:1 honors degree, or a 2:2 honors degree plus evidence of wider experience in a UK school or foundation setting relevant to Primary/Early Years education.
