Our BA (Hons) Computer Games Design degree course will take you through the main areas of computer games development, from idea generation to releasing a playable and polished game.
As you study, you’ll develop specialist skills in game design, level design, user interface design, and user experience design. You’ll learn about different user and task analysis methods that will help you develop intuitive and accessible interfaces.
You’ll also develop a deep understanding of the two most popular commercial game engines, Unity and Unreal – highly sought-after knowledge in the creative industries.
And, of course, you’ll build a professional portfolio to showcase your skills to future employers and clients.
96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent).
3 GCSEs at grades C, 4, or above, including English.
20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.
If English is not your first language, you will be expected to demonstrate a certificate of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. Still, you must undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year.
