Course Overview
The environmental degree at Zhengzhou University was established to provide practical and academic training related to environmental monitoring, analysis, and engineering principles. Over many years, the environmental science and engineering disciplines have developed through structured coursework, updated laboratory facilities, and experiential learning opportunities. The Ecology & Environment College combines theoretical study with hands‑on training that includes monitoring methods, instrument use, field sample collection, and data interpretation.
Students gain experience using environmental testing tools and following accepted procedures for evaluating air, water, and soil conditions. Laboratory sessions and practice-based coursework help build student confidence and readiness for roles in governmental monitoring agencies, environmental consulting firms, quality control units, industrial compliance departments, and environmental research institutes. Some graduates continue into postgraduate study in environmental science and related technical fields, maintaining academic growth and contributing to environmental programs at both national and international levels.
