Tourism Management

The Tourism Management MSc builds on core tourism and hospitality principles while offering deeper study in planning, policy, and management at a higher level than a bachelor’s. Students complete coursework that covers sustainable tourism practices, marketing strategy, service quality, and cultural tourism, giving them tools to take on leadership or specialist roles after graduation. Over time, many graduates go on to work in tourism boards, hotel groups, travel consultancy, or cultural heritage organisations. The program’s growth reflects LYU’s commitment to expanding postgraduate education and strengthening links with industry partners. With its mix of academic study and industry experience, graduates leave with knowledge that helps them work in both domestic China and global tourism sectors.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in tourism, business, hospitality, cultural studies, or a related field

• Official transcripts and degree certificate

• Language proof (HSK for Chinese, or accepted English tests)

• Passport copy and health certificate

Application Process

• Submit application through LYU international admissions portal

• Provide required documents before deadline (often Feb–May for September intake)

• Some programs may require a research proposal or interview
