Course Overview

You'll learn about the lives of animals and plants, how they function together in ecosystems across the planet, and the threats they face in the modern world.

You'll learn about British wildlife in detail using the beautiful Newton Park campus as a natural laboratory, along with UK field trips. You'll also have the opportunity to contrast this with a different ecosystem on an international field trip.

You'll learn practical skills in identification and surveying, using both established techniques and new approaches, and explore how we can use an understanding of human society to create positive change for wildlife. There will also be opportunities to develop your creative side, including activities such as artistic workshops and an optional module in wildlife photography and filmmaking.

General Eligibility

• Indian students with 65% marks at Grade XII / Pakistani students with 70% marks at Grade XII

• A Level – Grades BCC

• Accredited Prior Learning equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2.

• Other equivalent qualifications from EduQual/BTEC with Merit.

• Copy of latest school credentials

• Passport copy

• Emirates ID (if any)

• Visa Page Copy

• Passport Size ID photo

Successful completion of one of the following:

• A recognized post-secondary course.

• University preparation (foundation) studies.

• One year of study at a recognized tertiary or higher education institution.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• A mandatory English Language Test by Bath Spa University UK conducted in the Bath Spa University Academic Center RAK Campus; or IELTS (Academic) test results with an overall score of 6.0, minimum score of 5.5 for each skill/band.
