Youll have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that can be applied to various roles in education, learner support, counseling and mentoring, educational psychology, and more. This course is a recognized progression route to primary teacher training. Youll explore critical theories and concepts related to various educational contexts, covering psychological, sociological, political, economic, and cultural issues. You'll be taught alongside students in other education and social sciences courses, allowing for an enriched learning experience in both subject areas. The course structure enables you to choose from various modules, allowing you to develop your particular interests. Youll be encouraged and supported to undertake voluntary work experience to contextualize your learning in the summer term of your first or second year.
