Course Overview

Our oceans need protecting. Gain a deep understanding of the concerns surrounding marine environments and the specialist skills to tackle them on our Marine and Terrestrial Conservation degree in Cambridge. As a conservation student at ARU, youll go on field trips in the UK and Europe. There are also opportunities to view wildlife and ecology in Africa, and experience diving and marine biology overseas. As a graduate with practical, hands-on experience, youll be equipped to work in marine biology, ecology, or conservation with governments, environment agencies, and research establishments.

General Eligibility

112 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent), including a pass in Biology. 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
