Course Overview

Here at ARU, our nursing tutors will help you evaluate and develop your skills, and build on your theoretical knowledge of nursing. On the practical side, youll use our state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratories that will give you an unparalleled opportunity to fine-tune your nursing skills. Our labs were designed in collaboration with the NHS. They simulate the experience of working in a UK hospital, and give you the chance to use sophisticated healthcare equipment. As part of our nursing community in Chelmsford, youll learn through lectures, seminars and €˜action learning sets €“ where youll reflect with other students on the actions youve taken. Our student nurses really benefit from discussing and sharing their experiences in this way. Depending on your existing qualifications, youll either study both Level 5 and Level 6 over two years, or enter the course at Level 6 and study one year full-time.
