You'll acquire and demonstrate core knowledge and understanding of the scientific discipline of bioscience €“ at the same time, acquiring and applying skills such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and application in the context of bioscience. You will learn through practical examples, demonstrations, and active practice in workshop situations, classes, laboratory experimentation, work placements, and fieldwork. Work placement experiences can either be with an existing employer, if you have one or with an organization participating in the program. Other skills such as English, maths, and IT are developed throughout the course, for example, the Bio measurement module develops maths and IT skills.
