The course has been designed to meet the learning and professional development needs for a growing variety of practitioners who work with and support children, young people, and their families. The modules reflect changes in society as well as the work of services for children and young people and families. The course is structured around the common issues, concerns, and responsibilities of practitioners. It aims to support practitioners in developing their use of work-based learning to develop an informed, interdisciplinary and evidence-based approach to their work. You can continue to work and learn at the same time, using both University and workplace learning to develop your role as a practitioner.
