MA Education (Leadership and Management)

Course Overview

This pathway is a state-of-the-art exploration of educational leadership and management. It appeals to individuals at all stages of their careers; those starting out and thinking about their next steps, and those already in a post where they hold responsibility. Collectively the modules expose students to cutting-edge leadership theory and research and link these to the internal and external challenges faced by today's educational leaders. We focus on the leadership practices and processes that enhance, improve and transform organizations others, and society. The modules are thought-provoking and exciting, and you will emerge with an expert understanding of what it takes to be an effective leader, your responsibilities, and the impact of your approach on key educational stakeholders and society.

General Eligibility

A good honors degree (2.2 or above) and a significant interest in education and/or equivalent professional qualifications, experience, and evidence of continuing professional development.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS 6.5 or equivalency – with no less than 5.5 in any element.
