This is a dynamic, interactive professional course that places the needs of patients and their families, and Adult Nursing practice, at its center. The program team is committed to supporting students to realize their potential to become compassionate, competent, and autonomous Adult Nurses, who are able to meet current and future healthcare demands in a rural location and beyond. The course is delivered by experienced registered nurses who have expertise in both teaching and research and a variety of clinical specialties, including all four fields of nursing. The adult lecturers have experience, including district nursing, health visiting, medical, surgery, and critical and intensive care. The teamwork closely with local acute and community providers to ensure that the course remains contemporary.
Typical Entry 72 UCAS points GCE A Level 72 UCAS points from GCE A Levels Other vocational qualifications at Level 3 will also be considered, such as NVQs. If you are a mature student (21 or over) and have been out of education for a while or do not have experience or qualifications at Level 3 (equivalent to A Levels), then our Foundation Year courses will help you to develop the skills and knowledge you will need to succeed in your chosen degree.
