Course Overview

This program is validated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. On completion of this course, you will have met all the NMC Nursing Associate Platforms, which represent the standards youll need to meet when youre caring for people in a professional healthcare role. The concept of the Nursing Associate role was first introduced in the Shape of Caring Review (2015) where the development of a defined highly trained support role to help Registered Nurses deliver safe, effective, and responsive care was needed in order to respond to the future nursing needs of the public and patients. You can choose to study this course at either our Preston, Burnley, or Westlakes campus.
