Course Overview

As part of this course, you’ll:

  • Study language acquisition, systems and teaching methodology and apply it to your English Language Teaching (ELT) practice

  • Understand the role of language in issues relating to social justice, diversity and inclusion

  • Learn how to create inclusive language classrooms

  • Discover and experience a range of language learning technologies and ELT contexts

  • Develop your identity and communication skills as an ELT professional through classroom and reflective practice in a supportive personalised learning environment

  • Complete an independent research project relevant to your teaching practice and context

General Eligibility

Applicants should either have at least a second-class honours degree or have substantial English Language Teaching work experience.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
