PGCE PGCE Primary with Mathematics (QTS)

The PGCE Primary with Mathematics (QTS) course at Canterbury Christ Church University is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become an effective teacher in a primary school setting. The course is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, and practical workshops. You will also have the opportunity to observe and participate in teaching sessions at local schools. In addition to the QTS component, you can choose to specialise in Mathematics by taking additional modules such as Statistics and Probability or Number and Algebra. This will enable you to teach mathematics with confidence and provide your students with a solid foundation for future learning.

It is also potential for you to engage in further study for a full Master's Degree and on to a Doctorate in Education.
