This program is aimed at those wishing to specialize in applied behavior analysis. The course is designed to develop advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic principles of behavior analysis and the application of the principles within clinical and research settings.
The program has been developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to meet the professional requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). If completed in full with no breaks or time away from study, the course covers the BACB Task List specifications and is recognized by the BACB as providing the content eligibility criteria necessary to sit the full BCBA exam. Students who complete 2 years of MSc with practicum will also fulfill the applied work experience requirement and will be in a position to apply to sit the BACB exam when their degree is conferred.
We accept students with a wide range of qualifications and backgrounds and consider each application individually.
All students need to have good basic skills and the University also values IT and communication skills.
As part of the University’s policy, we consider applications from prospective disabled students on the same grounds as all other students.
The 20 hours is total hours. It is not per job. If you hold multiple part-time jobs then the total hours of all the work you are doing added together.
