Course Overview

On the MA Education (Social Justice) pathway, you will engage with cutting-edge research and explore key sociological, philosophical and political debates pertaining to power, equity and citizenship, including: cosmopolitanism, globalisation, human rights, migration, displacement, racism, xenophobia, structural inequity, and alternative forms of education as a form of agency, activism and resistance.

General Eligibility

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching or English (or related Social Science degree i.e. Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Law, Linguistics, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology) is required at 2:1 or above (or international equivalent).

  • Applicants without a 2:1 or a degree in Education, Teaching or English (or related Social Science degree as above) are welcome to apply, but should have a degree and a minimum of three years relevant professional experience post degree, in an education-focused setting.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
