Educational psychology is about the study and understanding of people's development, relationships, and behavior and the inter-relationship this has with organizational structures within educational and community settings. The course will suit those with some understanding of educational systems and settings. You will learn how to support the social and educational development of children and young people aged 0-25 years. You will also learn how to work with other professionals, such as teachers. The program emphasizes the need to apply psychology critically in order to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. We emphasize development as taking place within a social context and this influences the psychology we draw upon.
