The Psychology Foundation Year course has been specifically developed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles of Psychology to prepare you for study on one of our BSc Psychology degrees. Throughout the duration of this course, you will gain an understanding of the sub-disciplines, classic studies, career paths, underlying debates, and controversies related to psychology. You will also acquire key transferrable skills that will prove invaluable when you enter the workplace. This course is one of the only foundation year courses in the country that is taught entirely within a psychology department, ensuring that all of the content is relevant and tailored towards the curriculum of the BSC level degree.
80 UCAS Tariff points From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
International applicants should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).
