BA Sports Management at the University of Roehampton prepares you for a variety of careers within the sports industry. Our graduates may work with professional sports teams and leagues, or pursue careers in marketing, sponsorship, management and development of sports. They could equally consider the management of health, fitness and sports centres. During your time with us, we will equip you with the knowledge and expertise to pursue these careers and more.
Our careers team is available to support you from the start of your studies until after you graduate. They will help you build your CV, prepare for interviews, and meet and learn from successful graduates working at the top of their careers. You'll also have opportunities to work with our partners across London and beyond, and to attend a Roehampton job fair where you can find out about graduate opportunities and meet employers.

They have given us insight into what really matters in the business of sport, and we have designed a programme that reflects the skills and knowledge required of graduates who go on to become successful in that business.
Through our association with the Roehampton Business School, we will be able to equip you with business, management and marketing skills. You will then further develop and apply these skills in a number of varied and dynamic sport-related contexts. We will give you insight into the complex world of sports marketing, sponsorship and media, and explain their relationship to, for instance, eSports and other emerging markets
As such, the aim of the programme is to produce graduates who:
can demonstrate a range of skills in relevant sports-related contexts
are capable of working in interdisciplinary environments
are equipped to meet the challenges of the local, regional and national sports management industry
have developed an academic curiosity and a set of academic skills that encourages further study
